討厭動物的任春佳 (鄭丹瑞 飾)，在山中遇到意外，幸得流浪狗燒腩、動物義工鄧悅娜 (盧慧敏 飾)發現而脫險。燒腩的靈性，漸漸打開這個頑固老人的心扉，春佳和悅娜更因此成為忘年好友。在悅娜的幫助下，春佳逐漸解開和女兒素儀 (廖子妤 飾)積壓多年的心結。與此同時，懷著惡意的狂徒，正計劃下藥毒殺村中一帶的流浪狗‥‥‥
