他是一位從煙火中走出的英雄。這煙火不是戰火硝煙，而是和平時期軍營的爐火炊煙肩扛一道杠的炊事兵，經過刻苦自學，衝破艱難險阻，總從連隊的三尺鍋台走上了世界烹飪冠軍的的領獎台，彈奏了一曲強勁的鍋碗瓢盆交響樂。沈陽軍區政治部電視藝術中心根據軍中烹飪大師李春祥的事跡創作攝製的電視劇《軍中廚星》，以高昂的格調，質樸的藝術韻律，敘述了一個平凡崗位上的不平凡故事，塑造了一個自學成才的當代軍人形象。
