粵語長片。這是呂奇導演自編自導的一出戲，同時他在片中飾演職員潘誌偉，他的未婚妻田婉真（薛家燕飾）是公司的秘書，因為田的媽媽愛錢如命，讓女兒與公司主任龐子新（張英才飾）相好，殊不知龐在家裏紅旗不倒，外麵彩旗飄飄，除了正房，外麵還有四房黑市夫人，都被花言巧語的龐蒙在鼓裏。隻有誌偉最了解龐私下的秘密，因為愛人被搶，於是辭職，跟龐太太他們成立了一家公司，買走了洗潔精的原材料，龐的公司因為沒有原材料不能生產，隻好到誌偉的公司談判。龐真是八麵玲瓏，麵對著一群小情人與正房太太遊刃有餘，最後跟誌偉打了一架，從高樓墜落而亡。婉真和她的媽媽找到了龐太太，龐太太送了她四個字:自食其力，婉真的幸福就這樣葬送了。
