故事由希琳（劉怡伶飾）這個完美女孩的不幸際遇展開。專業舞者的她好不容易爭取到一生中最重要的表演機會，但一次水上意外導致她下半身癱瘓，摧毀了她的人生。希琳的夢想戛然而止，世界從此四分五裂，原本幸福美滿的家也一同崩塌。 希琳的情況令父母和弟弟都措手不及，心疼之餘還得做出犧牲，給希琳最好的照顧。一家人圍著希琳的生活團團轉，但彼此之間也因此出現嫌隙，承受非一般的壓力。希琳對家人感到愧疚，決定振作的同時，也努力修補家中的裂痕。 過程中，希琳結識天生殘疾的天晴（黃暄婷飾），兩人的人生軌跡從此交織。樂天向上的天晴適時地開導希琳，而天晴渴望成為殘疾泳將的夢想，也啟發希琳繼續為舞蹈員的夢想努力。麵對身體限製、社會偏見等重重阻礙，兩人互相激勵，為自己的人生撰寫更精彩的新篇章。
